Dear friends,
Welcome
to July and a brand new fiscal year. I hope you've all
spent a little time recently deciding what you'd like to achieve
this year. Sales, recruiting, promotions, incentives...you
should have goals for all of them.
Now
is the time to figure out exactly what you have to do to make
them!
If
there's any way I can help you to define or achieve your goals,
please don't hesitate to contact me.
Finally,
keep an eye out for an e-mail from me in the next couple of
weeks with news about our next free tele-seminar!
Warmest
regards and much success,
John

Four
Ways Your Stamping Business
Can
SAVE Money
|
 |
|
Many
stamping business owners feel like they're spending too
much money. And the fact is...most people
do.
The
good news is there are many things you can do for
yourself and your business that will actually SAVE you
money. Here are just a few:
1.
Keep Track of Your Expenses When
I ask my clients how much they spent this month, 19 out
of 20 of them tell me they don't know. If you
start keeping track of your expenses, you're going to be
a much more efficient spender. Keeping track
allows you to see where you may be spending too much,
and adjust accordingly. 2.
Ask Yourself Why? Many
times, we buy with our heart...not our head. Try
this: Whenever you're about to buy something, ask
yourself "Is this purchase going toward the growth
of my business?" If the answer is no, you may
want to rethink it. Even if you still buy,
however, just asking the question moves the purchase to
your head...not your heart.
3.
Set Limits You
only have so much money. Budgeting can be tough,
but its a great, effective way to keep more money in
your pocket.
4.
Think Like A Business Owner
If you owned a retail
store, you would never buy something that wouldn't
sell. Apply the same principles to your stamping
business. Whenever you're about to buy a stamp
set, ask yourself "Can I sell 5 of
these?" If the answer is yes, you can make a
profit on your purchase. If it's no, then it's a
loss.

Dream
Impressions Update
|
|
As
reported in a previous edition of this newsletter, Dream
Impressions, which left the direct sales business in
March, has returned as an online store.
Unfortunately,
although the option is still available to them,
customers are no longer required to buy product through
DI Consultants. They can now buy directly through
the website.

Gilbert
Everyone is afraid of failure. It
doesn't matter what you do...nobody likes to
fail.
What's great about this book, is it
shows you how to take failure and turn it into a
positive. It's a solid coaching principal that
even failure can be successful, and this book goes into
great detail to show you just how that's possible.

Direct

Continues
To
Grow!
|
|
For the
19th consecutive year, direct sales has continued to
grow in both the number of people participating AND the
amount of goods being sold. The Direct Selling
Association has just released the results of their
latest survey. It shows the following: -
13.3 million Americans participated in a direct sales
business. Up from 13 million. -
Direct sales sold $29.55 billion in 2003.
Up from $28.69 billion. That's almost another
billion dollars!
