Dear
friends,
Amazingly,
the end of summer is just around the corner. It's one of those
unofficial times that people reevaluate their lives and set new goals for
themselves. What
are some of the goals you'd like to set for yourself? Do would want
to book more workshops? Would you like more personal sales? Establish
a list of key clients/customers? This
newsletter
may help you a bit, as well as some of the other products and services we
currently offer. In addition to our first audio product - a motivational
CD to help you overcome your fears about starting and running your stamping
business - I'm also starting a new Coaching Group in
September! I'm confident our new Monday Night Group will
be just as successful as our Thursday Night Group has been.

New
Stamping
Business Coaching Group
Starts
in September!
It's
been three months since I started the inaugural Stamping Business Coaching
Group. We meet on Thursday nights, via conference call, to discuss all aspects of the stamping business, motivate
each other, share challenges, set goals and celebrate successes. I'm
happy to report the Group is going strong! So strong, in fact, that
I've decided to start a second Group beginning in September!
This new Group will
meet on Monday nights at 10:00 p.m. Eastern. If
you're looking for more hands-on support and assistance to help grow your
stamping business, you may want to consider joining our Group!
As a member of the Group, you will receive one-on-one Coaching, as well.
The size of the group is limited to 10, and participants will be accepted
on a first-come, first-served basis. You can only join at the
beginning of the month, so if you miss the September 3rd deadline, you'll
have to wait until October, pending space availability. Our
first call will be Monday, September 8th.
We'll
also have one or two availabilities in our Thursday Night Group beginning
in September.

Groups,

Are YOU Afraid Of!?
20
Fears About Starting and Running
A Stamping Business...
And
Why You Shouldn't Let Them Stop You! The
idea of starting and running a stamping business can be very intimidating. As
you make the shift from stamping hobbyist to stamping business owner, your
mind tends to come up with reasons why you can't or won't be
successful. These fears become obstacles that prevent you from
proceeding. My
new motivational CD, "What
Are YOU Afraid Of!?"
explores 20 of the most common fears and gives you the information and
motivation you need to overcome them. Some of the fears we'll look
at are:
-
"My
family doesn't support me."
-
"I've
never run a business before."
-
"I
don't have enough time to run a business."
-
"I'm
not a good salesperson."
-
"I
don't know enough people to make a stamping business work."
-
...and
15 more!
Not
only will this CD help motivate you, but it also gives you the answers to
some of the most common objections you'll hear when recruiting others into
your business.

The
Top 10 Tips for Working Effectively From Home
One
of the hardest parts of your stamping business is the fact that you're
running it out of one of the most distracting places in your life:
your home. If you find it difficult to separate your home from your
work, try to incorporate these tips into your day. You just may find
yourself becoming much more efficient!:
1. Maintain regular
working hours and stick to them.
2. Get a separate phone
line, computer and printer that are only used for your business.
3. Keep your workspace
separate from your living space.
4. Maintain goals and to do lists.
This helps you to
measure your progress.
5. Find other
independent workers or a Personal Coach to give you feedback on your
ideas and progress.
6. If you are working
with a team, have frequent telephone and e-mail conversations with the
members of the team.
7. Document your work
and learn to do this in laser like language.
8. Request frequent
feedback from customers and downlines so that you are sure you are
satisfying their expectations continually.
9. Take regular breaks
during your day.
Relax when you take
these breaks. This is NOT the time to start doing chores or
projects.
10. Set clear
boundaries. Neighbors, friends, and family must know that your office
is off bounds.

Nelson Bolles
A
lot of people assume this book is simply about finding a new job.
If that were true, though, it wouldn't be nearly as popular as it is
(over 7 million copies in print!).
This
book is about defining a vision for your life and a mission to get you
there. It's a must for anyone's library!
