Dear friends,
It's
official. 2004 is in full swing. Over the New Year,
did you make any resolutions regarding your stamping
business? Are you sticking to them? This is a great
time to take a moment to evaluate your progress and, possibly,
re-evaluate your goals or how you're going to get
there.
If
I can help you in any way, please don't hesitate to get in touch
with me. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy this month's
newsletter.
Warmest
regards and much success,
John

Trump's
Rules of Success
|
 |
|
As
members of the Stamping Business Coaching Group know, I
love 'The Apprentice.' Not because I'm a big fan
of reality TV, but because I take a good nugget of
information away from every episode that I can share
with my stamping business owners. Since the show
comes on right before our weekly Group call, I usually
share that nugget right then and there. Last
week's Newsweek magazine listed Donald Trump's Seven
Rules of Success. I've pared them down to Five
Rules of Success for Stamping Business Owners:
1.
You Have to Love What You're Doing
I've
never seen anyone succeed who didn't love what they were
doing.
2.
You Cannot Stop
If
there is a concrete wall in front of you, you have to go
through it. You can never, ever give up or even think in
terms of giving up.
3.
Confidence Is A Very Important Thing
But
confidence isn't something you just develop by saying
"I'm going to do this or that." You really
have to believe it.
4.
You Have to Remain Cool Under Fire
You
have to let criticism roll off you. Good leaders
handle conflict easily and bad ones are eaten up by it.
5.
You must be loyal to your team
Disloyalty
is the worst of all traits. You must work well with
others.

2004
and 2005 Speaking Engagements

The
schedule is coming together for our open seminars and
presentations. Thank you to everyone who wrote
last month indicating an interest. Some of the
areas we're currently looking into include Phoenix,
Chicago, San Francisco, Louisville, Boise and Vancouver,
BC.
None
of these dates are set in stone yet, but these are the
areas where we've seen the most interest.
Because
we will only
schedule where and when we believe there is enough
interest, if
you would like an open seminar in your area, please send
me an e-mail
and let us know where you are. We'll add you to
our list, and when we have enough requests, schedule the
seminar for anyone who would like to attend.
We
hope that this will benefit demos and consultants who
may not have large enough groups to make scheduling a
private seminar economically feasible.
If
you do have a large enough group, however, we are still
taking private bookings for 2004 and 2005.

Groups
and CDs
|
|
We
still have a space or two left for our Stamping
Business Coaching Group. We're going to devote
the month to overcoming objections, getting over your
fear of the phone and using it as the primary tool for
the growth of your stamping business. If you're
interested, you must sign up by this Thursday, March
4th. Click
here for more information.
Response
to our new CD, "What Are You Afraid Of - 20
Fears Concerns & Objections You May Have About
Starting and Running Your Stamping Business...and Why
You Shouldn't Let Them Stop You!" has been
great. To learn more or to order your copy, click
here.
I
invite all of you to join our new SIMB Yahoo! Group.
This
is a private group for members only, and there's no
charge to join. Members must
be active demonstrators or consultants within their
stamping company. Discussion is limited to
stamping business topics. To
become a member, click
here to send an e-mail.

You
Could
Save
Hundreds on Your Taxes with our next tele-seminar:
Tax
Tips For Your Stamping Business!
|
|
|
|
As a
home-based business owner, you're entitled to a number
of deductions that can save you hundreds, even
thousands of dollars on your taxes.
However,
most stamping business owners don't know about these
deductions. As a result, they end up paying more
in taxes than they ever need to. It's like
throwing money away!
If
you haven't filed your taxes yet, or if you'd like to
get set up for 2004, please join me on
Tuesday,
March 16,
at
10:00 p.m. Eastern for our next tele-seminar:
"Tax
Tips for Your Stamping Business"
This
hour-long seminar will provide you with the information
you need to save the most money on your taxes.
The
call is limited to the first 30 people who sign up.
Anyone with a phone can participate. Once you sign
up, you'll be given the phone number to dial into
(normal long-distance charges apply).
The
cost to attend this presentation is $9.95 (tax-deductible,
of course!).

Testimonials... |

I
really enjoyed your CD. I listen to it in my car to
motivate me and have played it for my downline to help them
get over their fears.

The
great thing about your book is I can keep going back to it as
my business grows and find relevant information.
