Hello
one and all,
The
last few weeks have been a whirlwind for me! The response
to my free phone call - How to Sell $400/month Without Breaking
A Sweat - was tremendous! Over 1000 stamping business
owners signed up for the call! Thank you so much for your
interest and your support.
For
those of you who have asked, and for those who are interested, I've
decided to release the call on CD. See the item below
for more information.
I
will be doing more calls like this in the future, as well.
Enjoy
this month's newsletter, and, as always, feel free to get in
touch if I can ever be of service.
Warmest
regards,
John

Because
You Asked For It! How
To Sell $400/Month Without Breaking A Sweat Now
Available on CD! Order
Now for Reduced Price and Free
Shipping!
|
Since I
did the free call last week, I've had several people
write to ask if I'd be making a recording of the call
available on CD.
So, I've
decided to release the CD, AND offer an incentive, as
well:
The
first 100 people to order the CD will pay just $11.99
($3.00 off) AND receive FREE SHIPPING!
The
80-minute CD is a complete recording of the call I did
on Tuesday, May 30th. It includes:
-
How to
sell $400/month working just 2 or 3 nights per month
-
How to
sell to customers who seem to have stopped buying?
-
The
difference between passively and actively running
your business
-
How to
find new customers
-
AND
the open Q&A session at the end of the call
How do you
know if you're one of the first 100? Just click
the 'Buy the CD' link below. An order form will
open up. At the bottom of the page, if you're one
of the first 100, you'll see the discounted price and no
shipping charge.

Should
I Belong to Two Direct Sales Companies At Once?
|
Over the
last couple of months, several people have asked me what
I thought of signing up with a second direct sales
company while you're still active with your stamping
company.
Personally,
I don't think it's a good idea, and I don't recommend it
for the following reasons:
1.
The opportunities and potential are not that different
Many
people look at other direct sales opportunities
because they believe the earning potential is
better. They've heard stories about higher
grossing workshops and quicker promotions. When
you dig a little deeper, though, you almost always find that
the potential is about the same with all
companies. For example, if one company has a
significantly higher commission rate, its usually
because that company's average sales (or repeat sales)
are lower. It all works out about even.
2.
You're splitting your time... and the results usually
show it
Your
time is limited to begin with. And you generally
have to juggle the time you spend on your stamping
business with your other obligations. And it is
a juggling act. Adding another business to the
mix is like trying to keep ANOTHER ball in the
air. You end up shortchanging BOTH businesses,
and not doing your best in either.
3.
It can be an ethically gray area
Most
stamping companies prohibit you from marketing other
opportunities to people you've met through your stamping
business. When you think about it, though, how
do you avoid discussing your other business with your
stamping business contacts? Rather than trying
to walk that tightrope, its usually better to just
avoid it entirely.

2006
Is Full!
Now
booking Live Presentations for 2007!
|
We're
happy to report that there are no more available
weekends for Live Presentations in 2006.
We
are now taking bookings for all of 2007!
Available
presentations include:
All
SIMB presentations are designed to inform, motivate and
inspire your downline or group to define their goals and
build their business.
Unlike
many other speakers, however, SIMB presentations are designed
exclusively for stamping professionals - not the
entire direct sales industry. John understands the
unique challenges stamping business owners face,
and is able to address them specifically.
We
also understand the financial difficulties stamping
business owners face and have priced these presentations
accordingly.
John
will share concrete steps everyone can take to make
their business a success - whether they just want a
self-supporting hobby, or a full-fledged stamping
business!

Stamping
Business Q&A
Referral
Program Clarifications
My
suggestion in last month's newsletter about implementing
a Referral Program has several of you asking two
questions:
Q:
Do I give my hostess a referral reward for every new
customer she brings to a workshop or gathering?
A:
No. Your hostesses can only be part of one
referral program at a time, and, as hostesses, they're
already part of your company's Hostess Benefits program.
Q:
Do I still give the referrer a gift certificate if the
new customer doesn't buy anything?
A:
Yes! If you add them to your mailing list so they
receive your newsletter, AND you call them on a regular
basis, your Referral Program will never lose money.
(If
there's a question you'd like answered, or a topic you'd
like me to cover, feel free
to
send
me an e-mail)
