Now Available on CD!

RECRUITING 101

.

I’m happy to announce that my newest training CD is now available:

Recruiting 101 –

Building Your Downline to Create A Profitable, Long-Term Stamping Business!

This CD is the studio version of the recruiting half of my live Advanced Marketing & Recruiting Seminar.  This is also similar to the presentation I recently delivered by phone to Janet Wakeland's RemARKable Stampers.

The purpose of the CD is to teach you just about everything you need to know about the process of recruiting, and help give you the confidence you need to make it happen!

The following recruiting topics are covered in detail on this CD:

   - The word 'No' - You don't have to be afraid of it.

   - Fear of being pushy - I'll show you a process of    recruiting that nobody, including you, would ever think was pushy.

   - Selling vs. Sharing - Gaining perspective on what you do.

   - The 3-Step Recruiting Process - I'll take you through a detailed explanation of each step, and show you everything you need to know about the process of recruiting.

   - The Five Responses - these are the five answers your prospect will give during each step of the process.  I'll show you how to answer each one.

   - The Five Objections - these are the five fears your prospect has that prevents them from signing up.

   - Answering the Objections - I'll share a formula which will allow you to overcome ANY objection your prospect has.

The Qualities of A Leader

In a recent interview with Forbes magazine, Peter F. Drucker, world-renowned management expert, shared his thoughts on the qualities a leader should possess:

Leaders Ask 'What Needs To Be Done" - not, "What Do I Want To Do?"  By addressing the priorities of the business first, they create a more productive and efficient one.

Leaders Don't Tackle Things They Aren't Good At - they make sure those necessities get done, but by someone who can actually do them with skill.  Not them.

Leaders Avoid "Popularity Traps" - The pressure on Leaders to say yes to 1,000 different things is enormous.  Many of them say yes to everything and are quite popular because of it.  Effective Leaders are purpose-driven and know how to say 'no' to the things that aren't critical to the vision and mission of the business.

Leaders Have 'Secret Offices' - A good Leader is always in demand, and very few people respect the other demands on the Leader's time.  Leader's need to take time to lead without distraction.  This means putting themselves in a place where nobody can reach them, and being comfortable with that.

The 8th HabitEmotional Intelligence -

Why It Can Matter More Than IQ

by Daniel Goleman

This book, originally published in 1995, was the first on the topic of Emotional Intelligence (EQ).

What is Emotional Intelligence?  The idea of emotional intelligence lies in a handful of basic principles. Emotionally intelligent people have an increased ability to marshal their emotional impulses; they can do things like delay gratification; they are optimistic and generally positive; they understand easily the dynamics of a given group, and, most important, where they fit inside that group.

A strong argument can be made that EQ is a more important factor in building your business than IQ.  This book was the first to do just that.

Stamping Business Q&A

What Do

I Do If...

I Want My Downline to Recruit More?

Motivating your downline can be difficult.  The first thing you need to understand and accept is that many in your downline will not recruit, no matter what you do.  You need to focus on the ones who want to.

Once you've identified who those downline are, speak to them one-on-one, either by phone or in-person.  Help them to make a list of people they can call.  Go through the 3-step process of recruiting with them.  Run through the conversations they're going to have with prospects.  Teach them how to answer and overcome Objections.  Support them in whatever way you can.

You may also find it helpful to set goals with your downline.  Ask them to commit to getting in touch with a certain number of prospects by a certain day.
