Dear Friends and
Colleagues,
Happy
New Year!
Hope you
had a wonderful holiday.
Now that
it's over though, it's time to hit the ground running!
Remember, January should be a fantastic time for your stamping
business.
Your
customers schedules are back to normal and they will be more
willing to commit to workshops, classes and other events on your
calendar. AND, because everybody is thinking about how to make
their lives better this month, now is also a great time to speak
to them about becoming part of your downline.
As I enter my tenth year working with Stamping Business Owners,
I'm very excited about all of the new offerings on the horizon.
You'll hear about a few of those below and I'll be rolling out
many more over the next couple of months.
As always, if I can be of any service, please don't hesitate to
contact me.
Here's to a prosperous 2010!
Warmest
regards,

Tony Robbins' Five Keys to
Thrive |
Over
the weekend, I watched an amazing video featuring Tony
Robbins discussing the five things you need to do in
order to thrive.
These five action steps are applicable to your business,
as well as to your personal life.
They were so good, I wanted to share them with you:
1. Feed & Strengthen The Mind
Fear and uncertainty are powerful emotions that can take
over. You have to stand guard at the door of your
mind to make sure these emotions don't take control.
So, how do keep or take back control of your focus?
Feed your mind with positive, substantive information
and inspiration to counteract the negativity. By
actively feeding your mind, you find great ideas.
Remember, great ideas have to be pursued.
2. Feed & Strengthen The Body
Even if you feed the mind, if your body is weak, you may
often find yourself lapsing back into negative thought
patterns. Have you ever worked out and felt great!
What if you did that every day? It doesn't have to
be a crazy workout. But if you take care of your
body every day, with exercise and/or nutrition, you're
going to feel better about yourself. And that
positive physical feeling is going to positively affect
your mental well-being, as well.
3. Get A Mentor Who Inspires You
One of the biggest things that will have the greatest
positive impact is the belief that your goals and
objectives ARE attainable. Find someone who can
show you the path to those goals and objectives.
Learn from that person. Draw motivation and
inspiration from that person. Find someone who
believes in you and your eventual success, and will hold
that place for you until you believe it, as well.
4. Get A Plan and Take Massive Action
Do SOMETHING! Too often, people take too much time
trying to come up with the perfect plan. Don't do
that! Just get moving! Remember, progress =
happiness. If it's not exactly right, guess what?
You can make adjustments as you go along. The
important thing is, you're moving forward.
5. Feed Your Spirit
Find what you're grateful for and take time to think
about how lucky your are. Most importantly, give.
Find a way to do something for someone else who's worse
off than you are. When you do that, when you
genuinely believe you're not here just to get, but to
give, as well, there's a spark. Remember, true
fulfillment comes from sincere and selfless
contribution.

Get Your Stamping Business
In Shape For The New Year
With
The 2010 Two-Week Tune-Up! |
-
Are you hoping 2010 is the year your stamping business
REALLY takes off?
-
Are you less than thrilled with the progress you've made
so far?
-
Do you just want to make sure you have everything in
place to really kick butt this year?
Over the last ten years working with Stamping Business
Owners, I've found there are three or four things most
of them aren't doing or don't have in place.
And it was if and when they took action on those
things, their businesses really took off.
The good news is, it doesn't take long to take those
actions. It's just a matter of knowing what they
are and how to take action on them.
To that end, I'd like to invite you to take
The 2010
Two-Week Tune-Up, starting January 19th.
It's only two-weeks long, but you're going to get all of
the information you need in that time to position you
and your business for the greatest possible chance of
success in 2010.
To find out more, including the dirt-cheap price
(seriously), click the video capture above or

Why Customer Surveys Are A Must |
Do
you ever wonder what your customers are thinking?
Of course you do, we all do.
Part of being a good business owner is understanding
what's going on inside the minds of your customers.
Here's the problem: Even though we may all wonder, very
few of us are taking action.
What action should you take?
Customer surveys!
A customer survey is a fantastic tool to help you
determine what direction to take your business in.
Customer surveys can tell you everything from what types
of classes your customers prefer, to what obstacles
prevent them from doing more business with you, to what
their favorite products are.
If you're going to do customer surveys, here are a few
tips:
1. Allow them to be anonymous, you'll always get
an honest answer.
2. Limit the number of questions to four or five.
The shorter the survey, the better the response.
3. Ask questions tkhat allow for simple answers.
One word answers are best, one sentence answers at the
most.
4. Take advantage of the free survey tools on the
internet. I like Vizu (www.vizu.com) and SurveyMonkey (www.surveymonkey.com).
As far as frequency goes, I would conduct no more than
one survey per month.
Finally, remember that a survey isn't the final word.
People with the strongest opinions will often be the
first to respond, but they may not represent the
majority of your customers. We call this the vocal
minority. Use a survey as just one of the tools in your
arsenal when making business decisions.

The Newsletter Co-op, Speed
Coaching and YouTube Evaluation Videos...
3 MORE Features Added to the
BSCG! |
We've added three new features to the Business
Stampers Coaching Group to kick off 2010!
1. The Newsletter Co-Op
Are you one of those people who is always struggling to
get your newsletter out on time (or at all)? Do you
often have trouble coming up with informative content
for your newsletter? Do you wish there were a way to
gain access to tons of content with minimal effort on
your part? Well, now there is...
The BSCG Newsletter Co-Op! The newsletter co-op
works like this:
-
you write one newsletter article per month. It might be
a card or scrapbook project, a technique or tool tip,
etc...
-
Once you've written and submitted your article, you then
have access to all of the articles the other co-op
members have written that month for use in your upcoming
newsletter.
-
We currently have over fifty members in the co-op. That
means, you write one article and can then choose from
over fifty for your newsletter.
-
Minimal effort.... Maximum return.
2. YouTube Channel Evaluation Videos
Since more and more stamping business owners are
establishing their presence on YouTube and creating more
and more videos, I've decided to add a monthly
evaluation video of a Member's YouTube video and overall
channel.
We'll look at layout and design of the channel, as well
as elements of the video, such as lighting, camera
shots, commentary, captions and editing.
These videos will be in addition to the weekly
Blog Evaluation and How-To Videos, and the monthly
Facebook, Twitter and Newsletter Evaluation Videos.
3. Speed Coaching
I haven't even announced this to the BSCG Members yet,
but starting in January, I'm going to be holding
periodic, 10-minute 'Speed Coaching' days.
Basically, I'll pick a day and give Members a number to
call. When you get through, you have 10 minutes.
Not everyone will get through every time, but for those
who do, you'll be amazed how much we'll be able to
accomplish in such a short period of time!
- If you're already a member of the BSCG,
you can
sign up for the co-op by clicking here.
- If you're not a member of the BSCG
and would like to find out what it's all about, we offer
a 7-day FREE trial.
Who knows? Next month, YOU may have your next
newsletter finished two weeks in advance!

Happy
New Year!
Time
to Raise Your Prices!
(really!)
If
you've been thinking about raising your prices, now is a
great time to do it!
Consumers
are conditioned to accept price increases at the
beginning of a new year more than any other
time.
And
raising prices means disproportionately higher profits!
Pricing expert, Rafi Mohammed, illustrates this in his
book, The Art of Pricing. He cites a study which
shows how raising prices 1% means an 11% average jump
in profits, while a 10% price increase causes an average
100% increase in profits!
And, believe it or not, raising prices is even more
important when the economy is bad because it allows you
to identify customers who put an emphasis on quality AND
have the money to spend on it!

Thanks to you my sales have been great!
Your information is great and I try to get my recruits to take your Boot
Camps! -
JP, West Virginia
I have begun listening to the CD's I ordered from Stamping Is My Business
and I am very impressed. There is a lot of specific information that I
was looking for and I thank you for that. I was already asking my upline
for a formula that would show me how to make my workshops profitable. The
formula you give is exactly what I needed. Now I can crunch numbers and
focus on profits in 2009.
